What actually happens
The one guest who does not drink gets thrown into a snowstorm
In the winter of 1996, a French dance troupe rehearses in an abandoned school under its manager Emmanuelle and its choreographer Selva. Once the big closing number is done, they start a party with a DJ called Daddy, plenty of dancing and a large bowl of Emmanuelle's sangria. Before long the dancers grow agitated and confused, and they decide that the drink has been spiked with a hallucinogen, probably LSD. They blame Emmanuelle first, but she drank it too and is clearly affected. Then Taylor, who already resents Omar for dating his sister Gazelle, points out that Omar never touched the sangria because he does not drink for religious reasons. The group turns on Omar and pushes him out into the snowstorm.

A pregnant dancer who skipped the sangria gets blamed for it
This is the scene people dread most, and it comes in the middle of the party. Emmanuelle catches her young son Tito at the sangria and shuts him in an electrical room, away from the dancers. Selva goes to see her friend Lou, who says she skipped the drink because she is pregnant. Dom, badly intoxicated, comes in, accuses Lou of spiking it, does not believe she is pregnant, and kicks her in the stomach repeatedly. Lou then confronts Dom on the dance floor, and the others blame her as well. She picks up a knife to defend herself, then breaks down under the taunts, punches her own stomach and cuts her face and arm while the group urges her to kill herself. Eva comforts her afterward. Elsewhere Jennifer's hair catches fire at a portable stove.
Red emergency lights and a missing key
Emmanuelle loses the key to the electrical room, and in a hallucinating panic she screams for help while she searches. Selva sees Taylor and others beat David, who has been talking all night about sleeping with every woman in the group. The power goes out and the school switches to red emergency lighting, and someone shouts with a laugh that Tito has electrocuted himself. Eva tries to rinse Lou's blood off in the shower. Selva goes to Ivana's room, and David follows and tries to drag Selva out. Selva shoves him back out and bolts the door. David then walks in on Taylor with his sister Gazelle in a bathroom. Gazelle runs to the central hall, where the rest of the dancers are dancing wildly, fighting or having sex. She has a seizure on the floor, and Taylor takes her to his room.
The ending, explained
When the police arrive the next morning, almost every dancer is unconscious or dead. Tito's body lies beside the open cabinet door. Emmanuelle, in her grief, has taken her own life outside the electrical room. Omar died of the cold out in the snow. Lou writhes in the snow, laughing uncontrollably. Eva is naked in the shower stall, huddled up, and Dom sobs alone in a ball. Jennifer splashes water on her burned scalp and screams. Psyche, Ivana's girlfriend, is still dancing alone. Daddy holds Riley in bed, Gazelle wakes next to Taylor, who tells her to say nothing to their father, and Ivana and Selva sleep cuddled together. Psyche finally goes to her room and puts liquid LSD into her eye.
